28/08/2010 Sat Night Round Island Ride!

As per topic, we will be doing a round island ride on 28/08/2010 (Sat).
Distance: Approximately 120 to 140 km.
Start Time: 830pm
End Time: +-2am

Meet Blk 363 (opp civic center) at 815pm...we will leave 830pm sharp.

will update this thread accordingly, refer back for more info.

better ride as a pack.......it is the '7th' month hor

Does this means no ride on Sunday? I am a new rider... I don't know if I can ride the 120km as I might be a burden to the team and catching you guys often and left behind

Ya, ride in a pack and oso do head count before the ride, just in case if we hv extra riders in the pack

only for 29/08/10 we dun hv Sun ride, rest of the Sun we will still be doing our routine ride! And i suggest u stop worrying and start riding....as per NemY posted, in the grp...there are fast and slow riders, if u feel good and able, go with the fast grp, and if u feel like relaxing, ride with the leisure riders. Ultimately, we will all meet at the pit stop/ makan place etc....you just need to hop on and enjoy the process, the ride and the fun. Dun pressure yourself with unnecessary stress. Hope to cya on any of our rides soon....

yup just take the first step and join in. i was stress too when i first join woodlands whahah. the only guy in singlet lol

I worry a lot coz I'm not from here..I'm just a tourist and does not know the way around.... but you guys are right... let me give it a try... i hope I can have a buddy on the ride.

You mean you are here for holiday? where you from and how long you gonna stay here? interesting.....of cos you will have a buddy during the ride, no worried.

Yes.... I am looking for a job here I am from Philippines... I'll be here until Oct 2 if I can't find a job...but I if I can then it will be long term :-)

Nice Ride Guys....a total of 22 riders turn up and 5 break away after the 1st stage of the ride while remaining 17 completed the round island ride.

We started at about 905pm and end at about 330am with 1 1/2 hr break in between. Thx all for the ride and truly enjoying.....till the next round island.....cya all again.
